Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

  • Design hardware, software and interface specifications.

  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

  • Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

  • Ground Support Equipment in support of F-15, F-18, T-X, T-45, P-8 and MQ-25 platforms.

  • Development and documentation of electrical subsystems and packaging of electronics

  • Assist with monitoring supplier and manufacturing performance

  • Support system integration and requirement verification

  • Performing system qualification tests to verify operational and functional requirements

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

What You’ll Need:

  • Skills and experience to manage total design, development, procurement, manufacturing and test of all Ground Support Equipment.

  • Experience designing, documenting, and implementing electrical systems

  • Support internal, informal peer reviews and formal design reviews with USAF and USN customers, as needed

  • Software integration experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Assist in informal and formal testing of support equipment, including aircraft and/or component physical and functional interface, as needed

  • Work under general supervision and in collaboration with other engineers, designers and support staff

  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
