F-15 Hardware Systems Life Cycle Engineer - USAF Trainers The successful candidate will have the daily responsibility of sustaining current training capability and fielding new training capability through the following actions: Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Assists with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues. Applies interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to manage the F-15 USAF Trainers Supply Chain (e.g., Supplier Management, Planners, Mfg Engineers, System Engineers and Designers). Analyzes complex material requirements. Coordinates and Verifies that Bills of Material/schedules and production are on plan. Reporting schedule adherence issues Develops and creates schedules for products and services. Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Documenting and resolving order delinquencies Required Qualifications: Due to the technical complexity of these trainer systems, a technical bachelor’s or associate’s degree is required. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is desired. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship The ability to interpret engineering requirements, reports and data is required. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams. Preferred (but not required): Practical experience in hardware design, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management is highly desired. Experience with trainers and training systems is desired, but not required. Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems is a plus, but not required. The possession of, or ability to gain, a U.S. DoD Secret clearance is mandatory with preference given to those who have completed a background investigation within the last five years.
