With a long-standing reputation for unparalleled customer service and product quality and reliability, GPI is a valued casino partner that delivers the best possible solutions to a casinois table game needs.iDEPARTMENT: QualityREPORTS TO: Quality Manager LOCATION: Blue Springs, MOJOB TYPE: Full-timeABOUT THE ROLEJOB PURPOSEContinuous inspection of products and procedures and documenting inspection and audit results daily.i EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-ExemptMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKSDeck and procedure inspections Various functions of inspection including inspecting decks as they are produced, inspecting for material, printing defects, and die-cut defects, measuring the registration centering of decks with a slide ruler as well as auditing procedures that other employees are following.Daily paperworkCompleting paperwork and checklists consistently and legibly.Additional inspections Able to inspect full sheets in the printing press department and locate print errors to help the pressman find and prevent defects.i Able to inspect printing plates for defects.iTEAM SUPPORT RESPONSBILITIES This employee is an integral part of the team, helping the operators to catch defects before they go out the door.i Our defect rate goal is 100% defect free product.i Quality Inspector will be working alongside the plate, printing, and finishing operators helping inspect product throughout the shift making Quality and Production management teams aware of any issues found.ABOUT YOUPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESReliable employee that can work independently.iiReads and perform work as assigned by Supervisor.Follow basic work instructions on prints.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Perform additional duties as needed.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSGood math, verbal, reasoning and organizational skills.Ability to lift to 20 pounds.Bend and stoop every so often during an 8-hour shift.Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time during an 8-hour shift.Ability to comprehend basic mechanical operations.Strong work ethic, punctuality and dependability.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to comply with procedures, rules and policies. Ability to wear provided GPI uniform shirt per production dress code.
