Our customers include OEM and Tier 1 automotive companies.In this role, you will report to the Shift Manager and support the manufacturing process to ensure products to print. Will support the team in fulfilling preventative maintenance and resolve equipment issues. What you will be doing?
Based on technical skill (electrical, mechanical, control, tooling) will be responsible for equipment start up after change over, breakdown, and shutdown (including first of tool parts).
Based on technical skill (electrical, mechanical, control, tooling) will be responsible for accompanying shift process support for the running equipment, ensuring product to print.
Based on technical skill (electrical, mechanical, control, tooling) will be responsible for resolving smaller equipment issues during the shift.
Support for fulfilling the preventative maintenance plan.
Support in the identification and implementation of improvement activities for all manufacturing equipment and processes.
Ensure legal and HSE compliance regarding the implemented manufacturing equipment and processes.
Fulfill assigned primary, secondary, and/or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
We are looking for someone with:
Ability to solve and fix technical problems with either the machine, electrical, programming, and/or tooling
Ability to communicate and work with employees and management on proper manufacturing processes training
Adequate experience in the use of common hand tools, meters, and/or programming software
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Hands-on mentality and excellent communication skills both written and oral
Social and intercultural competence as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills
Commitment to 100% safety, quality and continuous improvement
Ability to interact positively with employees of all levels across the organization
