Requires a bachelor''s degree and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Little creativity is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Job Description:

The STL Transformation Production Team is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic

individual to participate in the critical work of supporting R&D pipeline by supplying transgenic crops for

testing. The successful candidate will perform plant tissue culture tasks, including inoculation with

bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, and transfer of plants to soil. Desire to work within a team environment

is essential. The individual will also perform tissue culture media activities. Required Skills: A Bachelor''s

degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology or related field is required. Experience

working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable. Attention to detail, database experience, ability

to work in a team setting, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Sterile

technique experience is a plus.
