Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Oracle Network Architect
LOCATION: ANYWHERE USA
Your mission is to work with Oracle s largest ISV partners on migration strategies to move their intellectual property software and to develop their next generation SaaS offerings on the Oracle Cloud. You will work with internal business development strategists, and several other internal Oracle service delivery teams, including Product Management and Development to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architecture blueprints that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of Oracle Cloud services. In collaboration with ISV sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers and help our customers accelerate adoption of Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS, i.e. Network, Compute, Storage, Database Cloud Services, as well as Open Source platforms such Container Engine (Managed Kubernetes/Docker Services).
Job Responsibilities/Top Qualifications:
Networking and Cloud Experience:
Responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of next generation network technologies and cloud network design for Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions
Designs and defines Oracle Cloud networking architecture for new virtual cloud networks or existing systems migrating to cloud architectures.
Fluency in Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts, design, and practical implementation is required, including hybrid cloud network topologies.
Experience consulting large, enterprise clients in network topology and design strategies for connecting to the Cloud experience in networking with AWS, Azure, Google, or any other public cloud provider preferred.
Must have design and implementation (hands on) experience with most of the following technologies and services:
o Network transport technologies: MPLS VPNs, VPN, EVPN, DMVPN, Transparent LAN, Ethernet, Private Line, wavelength technologies, etc.
o LAN, VLAN and VxLAN
o Routing Protocols (i.e. BGP) and virtualized network environments
o Routers, Switches, Firewall, Load Balancing, etc.
o Application delivery, load balancing, and/or application acceleration
o Edge security (e.g. Firewall, IDS/IPS, Content), Tenant security in virtualized environments
o LAN and WAN traffic engineering
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid network design environments highly preferred
Ability to present in front of large technical audiences on complex networking concepts, WAN design architectures, and implementation techniques
Performs expert-level systems development and design work that may include logical system design; I/O design; cloud architecture analysis and design; and systems engineering.
Develops technical roadmaps for future Oracle cloud implementations.
Serves as primary liaison with senior clients; participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met and may participate in hands-on implementation activities for proof of concepts or in partnership with Service Delivery teams
Provides high level expertise to multiple projects and tasks.
Experience with Equinix Cloud Exchange, Verizon SCI, ATT Netbond, or other elastic interconnect solutions a strong plus
Experience installing and configuring virtual layer 3 appliances in a cloud environment also a plus
Linux experience strongly preferred
Experience with one or more build automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Chef, etc. also strongly preferred
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCP or similar certifications a strong plus
Public Cloud Certification (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) highly desired
