You will join a team that is passionate about creating the perfect package, no matter what industry.Summary:The Technical Ink Coordinator position is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintainingthe printing ink strategy forourFlexographic Printing andManufacturingPlant. The position will ensure that the proper inks are organized and distributed to the presses at the appropriate times.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and understand customer requirements for packagingReview Daily Work Schedule and prepare inks for each press run.Perform Color Blocks and record formulasManageSolvent and Ink WasteTone Ink Colors at Press SideKeep records of inventories, waste materials, ink formulas, and solvent usage.From the computer, create ink formulas and perform inventory reporting.Handle waste material in accordance with TC policy and training provided at new hire orientation and annual training there after.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in technical or engineering field preferredBasic knowledge of chemistry preferredAbility to coordinator hourly staff for 24-hour printing facilityKnowledge ofbasic housekeeping and safety for a manufacturing plantGood computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs required
