Job Description:
As a Biomedical Equipment Technician you will be responsible for providing technical support to medical equipment users and manage medical equipment maintenance, calibration and service. You will provide technical support to medical equipment users and troubleshoot to determine cause of problem and record results, identify changes in test methods or equipment as needed for medical equipment testing. As a member of this team, you will take routine sensitivity, selectivity, and accuracy measurements of medical equipment, maintain and calibrate medical equipment to industry standards, and perform preventative maintenance on assigned medical equipment. You will also be responsible for performing safety inspections and initiate any necessary service while also performing various forms of service to general electronic and low-to-medium-risk medical equipment.

Basic Qualifications
Associates degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Information Systems related field or equivalent work experience
At least 1 year of Clinical or health care work experience

Certified Biomedical Engineering Technologist (BMET) - AAMI Credentials Institute (ACI)
Basic electronics training from a junior college, military, or trade school, or graduation from a Biomedical Technologist program that includes medical equipment training
