This position has the responsibility to provide supplier quality support to the Columbia, MO plant for suppliers of Schneider Electric.
This position will report directly to the Supplier Quality Manager for MTO Cluster.
All candidates must be highly driven individuals capable of working independently and must have a passion to drive world class quality within the supply base.
All candidates must have a Bachelor's Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial) with 2 or more years of experience working in a quality, manufacturing or design environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO-9000, quality control plans, and problem solving methodologies preferred
Project Management Experience preferred.
Experience performing TS/ISO Audits internally or with suppliers
The primary roles and responsibilities of this SQE position are as follows;
Drive proactive quality, delivery and productivity improvement with Schneider Electric’s supply base
Accelerate change with cross-functional stakeholders
Conduct quality system evaluations of new and existing suppliers
Conduct material process and quality plan audits of existing suppliers as needed
Coach/Train the supply base on Schneider Electric’s expectations, systems and performance objectives
Respond and drive rapid resolution to emergency quality and delivery issues
SQE Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering ( ME, EE, or IE) with quality, design or manufacturing environment.
2 or more years work experience in a plant responsible for quality, manufacturing, design Engineering, or supply chain.
Lean Six Sigma trained.
Problem solver and work in a team environment.
