Aerotek Electrical Technician in Earth City, Missouri
The electrical technician will be performing electrical maintenance and repairs to all machinery and equipment. Job duties will include the following:
*Electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs; working with volts up to 480 volt (most equipment is 208v and 3 phase) *Electrical troubleshooting on equipment and machinery; will also run and pull wire/conduit *Repair blown fuses, tracing down issues, rerun conduit, and relocate equipment throughout facility *Perform machine installs and/or moving equipment and machinery within the facility; will need to perform all electrical and wiring disconnects and reconnects *Analyze circuits, wiring and ladder diagrams to install and repair circuits *Installation and Testing of Electrical Systems and Control Circuits *Install and setup A/C and D/C drives *Perform new equipment installation and major failure installs *Will be opening cabinets and determining some PLC breakdowns although most PLC work is outsourced

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The Best Candidate Will Have The Following: *2-3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting along with an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school *Strong understanding of PLC Ladder Logic *Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC required *Experience and ability troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing electrical breakdowns of machinery and equipment *Experience with 480 volt and 3 phase motors *Ability to install and set up A/C and D/C drives
*Mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus but not required
