National Dentex Dental Lab Production Manager (Appliances) in Fenton, Missouri

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 30+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a Full-Time Dental Lab Production Manager in our Appliances Department.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Manages and maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; and developing personal growth opportunities for team members.

  • Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising team members; coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

  • Maintains quality service by enforcing quality standards; analyzing and resolving quality problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.

  • Work with laboratory leadership to develop and maintain budgets.

  • Follow up on all customer complaints to ensure the issues identified are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and use as an opportunity to coach team members.

  • Oversee incoming work flow and inspection of completed work.

  • Communicate to maintenance on equipment issues or replacement

  • Expedite and monitor workflow to maintain production scheduling and prevent unnecessary overtime and cases being delayed.

    Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Obtain experience in tasks that are overseen or have the ability to learn and understand.

  • Minimum 2 yrs. production and/or manufacturing experience

  • Minimum 1 yr. customer service experience, preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, obtained though experience or recognized through observation

  • Polyflex & machine (capable of reaching dangerous temperatures)

  • Lathe, chopper, injector

  • Pumice

  • Milling hand piece, Trimmer

Physical Requirements:
