Products also include industrial microbiological controls to detect microorganisms in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.We are committed to creating an optimal work environment that fosters teamwork, emphasizes training and offers international career development opportunities.PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:* Project Manage and coordinate activities of a designated material/tooling projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are being accomplished within a defined time frame and budget. This includes working with new and existing tooling and materials.* Test and qualify proto type and production tooling. Work with material and tooling suppliers to provide direction with repairing and updating existing molds.* Provide support and qualify raw materials that are used to manufacture the product.* Work closely with internal contacts such as quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and industrialization to manage quality related issues.* Provide additional support for material projects while securing the business which could include qualifying alternate suppliers and/or materials as well as cost containment/cost reduction initiatives.* Providing expertise (SME) in materials for operators, maintenance technicians, and other engineers.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES* Main accountability is to lead and manage all injection molding tooling and material projects for the Reagent Engineering group.* Work closely with tooling and injection molding suppliers on methods for tooling modifications.* Sample and qualify parts from new or modified production tooling.* Implementation of new molds, system improvement, and experimental designs.* Support raw material CAPAand#39;s and NCMRand#39;s as needed.* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Reagents Operations Engineering, Incoming QC, Final QC, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to identify and lead material related issues to ensure optimum manufacturing process in terms of keeping manufacturing moving.* Manage all materials related quality issues in the area of Tape, Webbing, Tubing, and Card production with an emphasis on securing Card supply. Address other material related issues as they arise.* Provide daily decisions on service, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure product quality.* Participate in the development of long-term strategies for materials and molding improvements.* Conduct feasibility studies to assess new technologies or process improvements in material or process design.* Support root cause analysis and fishbone activities related to material or manufacturing processes.* Provide timely and accurate reporting on material and process quality activities.* Ensure all activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ISO, and Quality System requirements.* Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental requirements are fulfilled.* Is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for tooling and materials related to quality?* Support the development of capital business cases for new material and tooling development projects.Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE AND BACApplication URL:
