Fiserv Bindery Associate - $1,000 Sign On Bonus! - 2nd Shift with Shift Differential! in Hazelwood, Missouri

What does a great Bindery Associate do?

As a Fiserv Bindery Associate, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of machines within our Bindery Department that deliver mission-critical communications to financial institutions, health and property/casualty insurance providers, billers, retailers, travel and entertainment companies and advertising agencies nationwide. 2nd Shift Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 2:30PM – 11:00PM

As a Bindery Operator, you can look forward to:

  • Performing manual and assembly production tasks using: MBO folders, Large Polar Cutters, Hot Melt Glue, Dick Moll pocket folders

  • Setting up and running: Signatures, normal folding, Muller Martini Stitcher

  • Performing quality checks

  • Staging print production materials for pickup

  • Troubleshooting to resolve machine and job related problems

  • Performing minor machine adjustments, as required, in response to equipment error messages

  • Prioritizing work assignments based on deadlines

  • Assisting in the training of other employees and participate in cross-training

  • Understanding, interpreting and abiding by OSHA regulations

  • Clean and climate controlled work area

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bindery experience required

  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)

  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 12+ months Production Experience in High Speed Operation or similar

  • Use of basic math skills

  • A team player that works well with others but can also work independently
