Production Worker
Are you looking for a safe work environment where you can show off your production skills? Randstad St. Louis has a 1st shift opportunity in Hazelwood Mo for a Destruction Technician; someone who will sort through paper and material and dumping them in to a shredder to start soon. If you're wanting steady work, this might be the opportunity for you!!
Responsibilities
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside of the company. Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually; exhibit a professional manner when dealing with others to maintain constructive working relationships. Physical Requirements: Manufacturing type environment at times requiring dust masks and/or earplugs; ability to pick up heavy material (70lbs to 100lbs) and/or push as much as 300lbs wheeled containers; ability to operate PIT (and other equipment) as licensed. Work gloves required when handling and sorting materials for destruction. Safety glasses required. Protective footwear is required and shall meet ASTM F2413-11 “Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear” and have a slip-resistant rating designated as “Better or Best”. Temperatures on production floor can sometimes be equivalent to external temperatures.
