Position title: Operator 2, Consumer & Commercial Solutions Division

Job Responsibilities – Wire Shelving Operator 2 : Set up and perform basic on-demand/preventative maintenance to wire cutting and welding machines.

  • Place shelving pieces onto racks.

  • Proficiently run cutting/welding machines to produce product to specifications.

  • Load machine with raw product.

  • Off-load completed product.

  • Rotate every 2 hours as material handler (Cutter only) and proficiently handle forklift to move raw materials to lines and unfinished product to Welder.

  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.

Minimum Requirements – High School education/G.E.D. The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to verify quantities for production.

Preferred Requirements – Employee lifts/carries 40 pounds constantly (67% of the time or over 500 times/day.)

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards/requirements.

  • Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards/requirements.

  • Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
