Refresco Quality Technician in Joplin, Missouri
Description
Purpose of Position: Helps to ensure a quality product through procedures set forth by the Quality Department.
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Independently tests, adjusts, approves batches of juice, and certifies production.
Monitors production by sampling and testing bottled juices.
Accepts or rejects raw material based on test results.
Issues batch sheets as needed.
Relieves inventory based on batch sheets.
Enters batching/processing shop orders and prints reports.
Maintains, reviews, and retains library.
Tests and determines the acceptability of samples.
Completes paperwork and records for shipping samples.
Uses microscope to examine raw material for evidence of spoilage.
Issues “HOLD” reports as needed, tags “on hold” material and tests for disposition.
Adheres to and assists in maintaining and promoting GMP’s.
Performs quality checks on incoming raw material received directly from vendors.
Follows safe work practices and handles hazardous materials properly.
Other duties as assigned.
