Summary:

Support Honeywell for delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation by designing, testing & validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects & programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal & external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications. Electrical Engineering position to support the functions of the Kansas City National Security Campus, Global Security. The candidate shall have a background in electrical design & analysis as well as an understanding of test & measurement techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes routine to moderately complex electrical designs & specifications to determine the original design intent of components and assemblies. Recommends cost effective and reliable manufacturing methods for fabrication.

  • Assists in the design, testing, & evaluation of electrical assemblies, components & tools.

  • Interacts with other designers, suppliers, & internal organizations to assist in resolving design, development, production, & acceptance issues.

  • Identifies opportunities for defect prevention and recommends corrective actions based on standard or accepted technical practices.

  • Duties may include electronic test system design.

  • May perform other duties as required.

  • Use your advanced electrical engineering knowledge by working on exciting products and processes serving customers globally.

  • Refine & expand your engineering skills in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies.

  • Partner with various project teams to solve complex electrical engineering problems.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering program.

  • Five (5) or more years of electrical engineering experience.

  • US Citizenship needed to obtain and maintain required US Dept. of Energy "Q" level clearance.
