This position will be located in Kansas City, MO
Provides engineering support of highly technical and advanced manufacturing processes typically requiring specialized qualifications, knowledge and/or skill
Performs project management and design, development, evaluation, and quality control functions on highly complex engineering projects, regularly offering innovative solutions to significant technical problems
Applies mathematical, physical science, and advanced engineering technologies in accomplishing engineering objectives
Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments
Recognized authority within area of expertise with wide versatility of experience and capability
You Must Have:
U.S Citizenship, in order to obtain and maintain U.S government security clearance
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Engineering program, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from an accredited program
Six (6) or more years of progressive, applied Engineering experience in engineering of products, processes or technical responsibilities including application of advanced engineering principles and technology for highly complex technical assignments
A broad knowledge of manufacturing or quality processes and techniques
Ability to apply advanced design, development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to highly complex engineering concepts and projects
Demonstrated technical project management experience
Ability to work without supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making
Ability to provide technical guidance, project management, consultative services, and innovative solutions
