This position will be located in Kansas City, MO

Job Duties:

  • Perform as the encapsulation process engineering representative on SECOND shift

  • Works with engineering to establish test techniques for new product during development and to resolve product or equipment problems, and may install, characterize and/or design equipment

  • Solicits input from operators and initiates improvements on their own initiative to improve on-time delivery by modifying existing fixtures, devices, methods, process steps and procedures

  • Provides technical direction and training to hourly/salary employees to include course ownership responsibility

  • Perform as the expert on capital equipment used in encapsulation processes. e.g. curing ovens, automated underfill, conformal coating machines

  • Identifies opportunities to improve HS&E within supported work centers

  • Supports initial and updates to forecast for technician support requirements

    You Must Have:

  • US Citizenship required in order to obtain and maintain US Department of Energy Q-level security clearance

  • Two (2) or more years experience in a related technical role

  • Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two or four year technical degree

  • Must be available for work SECOND shift

  • Training on first shift for approximately 3 to 6-months and then transition to second shift

    We Value:

  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) use and familiarity

  • Construction of work instructions and visual references. e.g. animations

  • Experience in an environment with extensive quality and compliance requirements

  • Experience in a production environment

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks

  • FM&T experience

  • Exceptional communication skills
