Cennox is a nationwide corporation looking for a Full -Time First Line Maintenance Vault Preventative Tech in the Kansas, MO area.

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance work on vaults and bank equipment. As a Vault PM/First- Line Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for diagnosis and technical fixes to Automatic Teller Machines. This may include card, bill, and paper jams, as well as replacement of card reader belts, light bulbs, air filter, all the way down to complete rebuild of the equipment. Knowledge of various ATM systems including NCR, Wincor, Fujitsu, and Diebold is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and service of time locks, mechanical combination locks, night depository heads, vault doors, safe doors

  • Perform first line maintenance work on ATM machines. This will include the resolutions of paper jams, belt jams, bill jams, etc

  • Disassemble time locks

  • Perform preventative maintenance on pneumatic VAT systems

  • Clean stainless steel surfaces of bank vaults and safe deposit boxes

  • Grease vault doors

  • Attend to calls within a two-hour service window

  • Report defective material or inaccuracies

  • Organize and manage paperwork and inventory

  • Take meticulous photographs of required devices, forms, and areas

  • Complete jobs and paperwork correctly and in a timely manner

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements:

  • Smart-phone familiarity and technologically savvy

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps

  • Have mechanical/technological/electrical aptitude

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to interpret written instructions and documents

  • Ability to learn through telephone training

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service

  • Valid driver's license

  • Criminal Record Search must pass our customer’s requirements

  • Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability vehicle insurance to perform work in the area, as deemed appropriate by Cennox liability insurance policy, currently in place and as amended in the future.

  • Subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements, as well as at random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol tests as deemed appropriate by Cennox current approved drug testing policy.

  • Must have a driving record in Good Standing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move 40 or more pounds

  • Ability to work indoors and outside (including during in-climate weather)

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to sit and drive vehicle with extensive travel

  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
