Children''s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics Innovation Solutions Intern in Kansas City, Missouri
This position serves as an assistant for innovation activities within the Center for Pediatric Innovation department. Under the supervision of the Director, Innovation Development, the Summer Scholar will assist in creating, building and implementing new innovative solutions. The position will last for ten to twelve weeks over the summer.
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of college in a field related to industrial design, technology, engineering or innovation methods preferred
Serving as a creative builder and innovator in coursework; taking courses at least at the undergraduate level related to innovative design and development with a 3.0 minimum GPA; creating innovative solutions as part of a course requirement
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Good organizational skills
