Maintenance Technician

job summary:

Fortune 500 manufacturer in the greater Kansas City MO area seeks an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Strong company with solid benefits. Pay depends on experience level but you must be open to all shifts and you must join the union in place. Plenty of OT available!

work hours: 3pm to 11 pm

  • Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment.

  • Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems, including the plant's main power supply system.

  • Repairs electrical equipment/systems and control circuits; and replaces faulty electrical equipment as needed. This troubleshooting element is inclusive of Three Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) applications.

  • Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred

  • 2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience. An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLCs, electrical and mechanical drawings


  • Must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift

  • Must be local to Kansas City MO

  • Must be able to work in the US without present or future visa sponsorship
