Aerotek Manufacturing Engineer in Kansas City, Missouri
Aerotek is currently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in the Kansas City Area. Qualified candidates must have a four year engineering degree with some experience. Candidates must be comfortable working on the manufacturing floor in a fast paced environment.
Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Priorities include process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
Collect, record, and transcribe data. Show testing and validation results in reports.
Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process. Advise on corrective actions.
Work with equipment designers to develop a cost-effective and working production process. Support new equipment integration into production.
Ensure projects are completed on time.
