Manufacturing/Quality Engineer – Kansas City, MO - 1st Shift

We have an immediate opening for a quality engineer role on 1st shift in North Kansas City. This is a 1 year contract role.

Job Summary: Manage quality processes and actively coach organization concerning quality. Process analysis including administering projects and processes using PFMEA's and process control plans. Implement process improvements and support quality manager in maintenance of the quality system (document control and internal/external audit activities.)

Position requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of education)

  • 3+ years of experience working in automotive or logistics environment in a quality capacity

  • Strong computer skills

  • Project management skills preferred

  • Understanding of supply chain concepts

  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
