WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior CADD Manager for our Kansas City, MO office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all CADD related activities of teams to meet project deadlines and budgets.

  • Enforces and is responsible for all CADD drawings/graphics generated by staff.

  • Determines and defines standards and methods of performance measurement of CADD usage on projects.

  • Monitors CADD productivity of CADD staff/users.

  • Selects, deploys, and supports hardware/software for CADD staff use.

  • Maintains CADD system including CADD software and complementary design software.

  • Lead efforts to explore and advance the use of 3D digital delivery on projects.

  • As needed plan production including CADD drawing setup, plotting, and design.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in CADD-related field (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the Civil Engineering field.

  • Capable of supervising the activities of all CADD graphics and design programming personnel for a major project, or small department.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with CADD environments for our Kansas City Metro Area state, county, and city clients (MoDOT, KDOT, KCMO, Unified Government of Wyandotte County, Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit, etc.).

  • Strong experience with using design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, GEOPAK, Inroads, Open Roads.

  • Understanding of Windows Network and ProjectWise Cloud based network operations, environments and libraries required for the support of theses platforms.

  • Ability to teach and coach the use of design and document management software to users of varying levels of expertise, improving overall company proficiencies.

  • Proficient experience in Autodesk products and interoperability with Bentley products.
