Our Senior Field Service Technician (Water) provide specialized support through the application of technical skills to the delivery of Jacob's services. The incumbent will have thorough knowledge of procedures and technical concepts within own area and be familiar with regulations and standards for area. They will evaluate and resolve problems by applying appropriate solutions from previous practice and similar experiences, and apply technology and seek assistance as needed. This position completes multiple, related technical tasks.

Bring your interest in field support to assist technical specialists, scientists, engineers or more senior technicians, by performing specific tasks designed to provide necessary services and solutions for our clients. Assist our Field Leaders in the application of guidelines, methods, and techniques of condition assessment technology by performing routine condition assessment of water distribution through leak detection, sanitary collection systems including sewer flow monitoring, RDII investigation, and asset inspections. Typical duties could include: routine set-up, assembly, and/or installation of components of portions of equipment; conduct minor troubleshooting and make simple repairs as instructed; as well as start- up and stop of small engines to control and adjust flow and testing processes.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED
CCTV Inspection of sanitary sewers
Previous experience on water distribution systems, leak detection,and flow monitoring of open channels
Maintain valid driver's license
Ability to travel by vehicle around local project sites
Ability to follow instructions both verbal and written
Regularly move up to 10 pounds, frequently move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move up to 50 pounds
Perform repetitive motion functions under adverse weather conditions indicative of local environments
Must be able to operate in a stationary position while using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, instruments, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend/descend or balance; position self as necessary to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate thru speech or hearing; and taste or smell
Specific vision abilities desired by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
Must be able to work in constricted places
Must have flexibility to reach, stoop, and bend to work on and with equipment
Use of ladders
Ideally You'll Also Have:
Associates Degree or equivalent
Previous technical training or equivalent experience
