This position is in Kansas City, MO

Job Duties:

  • Metrology Engineer will provide measurement guidance and support in the Metrology, Gage Repair & Calibration and Tool & Gage Inspection, and other areas in manufacturing

  • This includes support for performance of calibrations, special measurements, measurement experiments, and maintenance of measurement equipment

  • The Engineer will devise new testing methods and calibration procedures, perform measurement uncertainty analysis, review calibrations, write technical and calibration reports, and specify / procure measurement equipment

  • Performs project management and design, development, evaluation, and quality control functions on highly complex engineering projects, regularly offering innovative solutions to significant technical problems

  • Applies mathematical, physical science, and advanced engineering technologies in accomplishing engineering objectives

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments

  • Recognized authority within area of expertise with wide versatility of experience and capability

    You Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program or bachelors of science degree in Physics from and accredited program

  • Six or more years of relevant experience in engineering or related technical activities

    We Value:

  • Experience in the areas of dimensional and mechanical measurement

  • Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical, and organization skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
