Job Overview

The Clinical Director (BCBA) is an exempt leadership role responsible ensuring the quality of all client programs and is jointly responsible for the growth of their clinic. This position works collaboratively with the Operations Director to introduce BlueSprig in the community, develop the client pipeline, intake, and on-board new clients. The Clinical Director also ensures that all clients are receiving the highest quality of treatment in a timely manner. This position is responsible for overall growth, culture, and performance of all clinical employees within the clinic. The Clinical Director reports to the Area Director.

(Job Responsibilities)

  • Work with the BlueSprig Clinical team to conduct and/or oversee clinical assessments and treatment program recommendations.

  • Ensure initial client intake is conducted in a timely manner with the counsel of the Operations Director.

  • Oversee the implementation of treatment programs to ensure best clinical practices are always implemented.

  • Evaluate the treatment programs on a regular basis to ensure that performance measures are being met.

  • Ensure clinical quality standards by offering employee trainings and clinical knowledge and counsel to the clinical team.

  • Manage caregiver support services.

  • Collaborate and build rapport with clients and families to improve the likelihood of best possible outcomes.

  • Provide supervision and caregiver support to clients and caregivers as needed.

  • Set and achieve clinical performance goals.

  • Lead a team environment with a strong focus on culture.

  • Provide and manage supervision experience hours for BCaBA and BCBA candidates.

  • Periodically travel to various locations (e.g., homes and community) as part of the oversight of clients’ treatment programs.

  • Perform other duties as necessary or requested by clinical leadership team.

How do I know my experience is a good fit?

(Job Requirements)

  • Master’s Degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.

  • At least four years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting preferred. Familiarity with the field of early intervention preferred.

  • Demonstrates creativity and a “think outside the box” attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clients and staff.

  • Expert knowledge of scientifically-validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit children with ASD, familiar with current related research findings.

  • Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies related to program and service delivery for individuals with ASD.

  • Valid CPR certification and other medical and training requirements as specified by BlueSprig payors.

  • Ability to pass background clearance and reference checks.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies.

  • Works with integrity and ethically and follows the BACB Ethical Code.

  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
