Cerner Facility Engineer in Missouri
Cerner is looking for a Facility Engineer to join our Properties team! As a Facility Engineer, you will maintain building equipment and identify potential improvements for operational efficiency. You will perform preventative maintenance and general repairs of building and components, including locks, doors, dispensers, receptacles, fixtures, and light electrical and plumbing. You will identify and escalate operations, engineering and quality issues and minimize or eliminate potentially critical issues. You will be responsible for identifying and escalating operation, engineering and quality issues, as well as assisting facility engineers and coordinating with contractors and suppliers on projects as needed. Additionally, you will complete service requests within required timeframes, follow up with clients and conduct work in compliance with all safety procedures.

High School Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of general electrical or mechanical work experience in a commercial or corporate office building
At least 3 years of maintenance work experience within a commercial property
Experience in commercial office building HVAC operation and repairs
5+ years of general maintenance work experience in a commercial or corporate office building
1+ years of building management systems (BMS) work experience
Operate company vehicles, radios or assigned equipment
Work environment involves exposure to outside elements/inclement weather
Willing to work additional or irregular hours and a rotating on-call schedule as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Participate in role defined trainings as required by manager
