Cerner's Interop Implementations team is growing! Are you looking to join a fast-paced and highly collaborative team? As a Senior Interoperability Project Manager you are responsible for the installation process and relationship with designated Cerner clients. You will provide support to the project team members and serve as the project manager deploying the Interoperability solutions. In this position you are the primary contact for all client-based activities. Additional responsibilities include: project planning and management, risk assessment, appropriate executive relationship management and project status review. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 5 years of project management or software implementation work experience

  • At least 3 years health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, sciences or information systems

  • Experience managing multiple small and moderate sized projects involving multiple teams of people with disparate roles

  • Healthcare information system implementation work experience

  • Understanding and/or work experience utilizing of HL7V2 and HL7V3

  • Experience with Cerner utilized tools (Navigator, Remedy, etc.)

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
