Join us as a Team Lead on the Population Health Analytics Platform team! You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Cerner's new cloud enterprise analytics solution. The solution provides high-value analytics from dynamic, user-configurable dashboards to ad hoc data discovery, visualization, and statistical innovations leading to essential improvements to clients meeting their clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
This is a great opportunity to work with emerging technologies in the Hadoop and analytics ecosystem including leading business intelligence software packages and high-performance massive parallel processing platforms for storage and data analysis. As an important part in the quality of our solutions, you will be asked to participate in peer to peer code reviews prior to deployment. Even though this role will primarily be architecting systems and new code development, you will work on defects, provide input on functional design, test, and troubleshoot as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 5 years of Software Engineering work experience
3-5 years of experience in object-oriented programming and design
3 years of SQL and schema design experience
1 year of Hadoop ecosystem experience
1 year of test-driven development experience
1 year of Agile development methodology experience
1 year of analytical data modeling experience (Kimball method or other)
