Newell Brands Technician Maintenance in Neosho, Missouri
Position Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Reports to: Gary Moon
Location: Neosho, MO
Maintain and perform PM on all equipment within the facility
Maintain and perform PM on all building and grounds areas, including office areas, building structures, production areas, dock areas, HVAC and outside grounds
Maintain and perform PM on all Security Systems, Sprinkler Systems, and Alarm Systems as required
Must comply with all OSHA, EPA, and MSDS Standards
Maintain and perform PM on all electrical systems within the facility
Required to perform all phases of the job in a safe manner and follow all established safety and housekeeping rules and procedures
Maintain and perform PM on all vehicles, including forklifts, trucks, scissor lifts, and snorkel lifts
Required to meet all general maintenance standards and meet all maintenance codes
Electrical journeyman or 3-5 years electrical helper preferred.
Minimum of 3 years training or experience in warehouse and facility maintenance
High school education or GED required
Willing to take vocational training for credit in facility maintenance, mechanical and electrical maintenance as determined by Facility Manager through Newell Brands tuition assistance program.
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, equipment maintenance manuals, and regulatory codes
Will be required to walk or stand for extended time periods, have good hand, wrist and arm flexibility, and work in either hot or cold environments
Ability to communicate, read, write and comprehend both oral and written instruction
Must have basic computer skills
