Summary: To perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities including HVAC equipment to provide comfortable conditions throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other related duties as assigned.

  1. Maintain and repair all guest facilities for the safety and comfort of the guest.

  2. Operate, maintain and assist in repairs of HVAC equipment to provide comfortable conditions throughout the facility.

  3. Operate, maintain, and repair pools and related equipment in order

to keep clear and chemically balanced.

  1. Maintain and repair kitchen, restaurant and lounge equipment to

ensure safe and efficient operation of the food and beverage

departments.

  1. Maintain and repair sound systems, staging tables, chairs, etc. for

the safe and efficient operation of the conference areas.

  1. Maintain integrity of the automatic alarm systems so that any

conditions affecting building security or creating a fire hazard can

be corrected.

  1. Keep adequate level of parts and supplies required for facility and

inform supervisor of equipment and supply needs.

  1. Perform regular equipment maintenance to prevent major and costly

breakdown.

  1. Cooperate with insurance, fire and safety inspectors.

  2. Work with outside contractors as necessary to assist them in

performing maintenance or construction projects.

  1. Aquire working knowledge of Lodge and facilities to respond

appropriately to guest questions, as required.

  1. Prepare reports, as requested, to develop a more informative data

base for improved management decision making and critical evaluation

of work activities.

  1. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all

problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her

attention so prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

  1. Will perform other duties as required.

  2. Wear appropriate safety equipment for the job.

Education and/or Experience: At least two years related experience and/or training in the Hospitality Industry.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

To successful complete a Missouri Propane Gas CEPT Basic Training course.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
