Summary: To ensure Guest satisfaction related to repairs on equipment and facilities, typically in the absence of management staff, and to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Appropriately prioritize and respond to work orders/Guest requests.

  2. Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of public spaces, guest accommodations and residential properties.

  3. Follow standard procedures for management contact when necessary

  4. Work effectively with all departments of the resort to ensure Guest satisfaction.

  5. Work with outside contractors as necessary to assist them in performing maintenance or construction projects.

  6. Acquire working knowledge of Lodge and facilities to respond appropriately to guest questions, as required.

  7. Prepare reports, as requested, to develop a more informative data base for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.

  8. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

  9. Will perform other related duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education and Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in the Engineering industry.

  • Skills and Knowledge

  • Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

  • Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
