Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Co-Op candidate to join our Clinical Operations department located at our VAB facility. As an Co-Op (underthe supervision of the Clinical Operations Associate Director, ClinicalOperations Group Leader, Senior Monitor, and/or Monitor) , you will support the Pharmaceutical Clinical R &D team with study execution preparedness, management of study documentation,and ad hoc monitoring visits. Provide Clinical & administrative support forclinical studies adhering to BIAH US SOPs, standards of Good Clinical Practice(GCP), Veterinary International Conference on Harmonization (VICH GL9), and FDAregulatory guidelines .

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Generaladministrative support for assigned pivotal clinical studies:
o Input study data on tracker(s)
o Receive, organize, forward & trackinformation from study hot lines, faxes, CRFs, study-specific emailsaddress(es), etc.
o Manage and track inventory and location(s) ofstudy supplies
o Assemble binders containing clinicalstudy-related information
o Prepare and ship study-related materials toinvestigator sites
o If necessary, accompany Senior Monitor orMonitor on investigative site visits as administrative support
Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
Major must be related to the field of internship.
DesiredExperience, Skills and Abilities:
· Areaof study is a life science-related field (e.g., zoology, animal health, nursing,etc.)
· Knowledgeand proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and OneNote)
· Knowledgeand proficient use of Adobe Acrobat
· Knowledgeof medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred
· Proficientwriting and communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
