Position SummaryThe QA/QC Lab Technician will provide support to the Quality Unit through monitoring of materials and GMP systems.Essential FunctionsInspection of manufacturing and filling areas to insure GMP compliance.* Environmental monitoring of GMP facilities.* Assist in internal investigation reports, quarterly, biennial and annual reviews, as needed.* Assist in the product stability program.* Perform administrative duties such as filing paperwork, scan and track documents, constructing spread sheets, and logging of results.* Organize and maintain sample stability/retain storage areas.* Daily calibration of lab instruments as required.* Maintain instrument calibration schedule.* Maintain SDS Binder.* Communicate lab results to internal or external customers effectively as required.* Maintain records in accordance with Good Laboratory Procedures.* Comply with all regulations from local, state, and federal agencies, (OSHA, FDA etc.)* Fill in bench testing, packaging testing, etc. as need ed.* Maintain chemical waste disposal and records.Additional Duties* In absence of QA/QC Technician/Chemist, fill in as needed.* General laboratory cleaning and maintenance.* Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications* Computer literacy, mathematical skills, basic reading and comprehension, attention to detail, good observation skills, self-motivated.* Ability to work flexible hours, knowledge of FDA and cGMP policy, experience in SAP and Microsoft products.* Practical experience working in a laboratory not required but preferable.Education/Experience* Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
