Biologist
Randstad has an immediate position open work a Biologist with strong technical skills to conduct studies to evaluate the safety of BCS products. Our client is one of the world's largest life science companies, focusing in agricultural, pharmaceutical and healthcare research. Responsibilities:
Conduct insect bioassays to characterize activity of insecticidal compounds following GLP procedures.
Receipt, maintenance and inventory of insect colonies, diets and other lab materials using appropriate electronic systems.
Maintenance of agricultural crops in growth chambers/greenhouses.
Provide quality control support for data and reports.
Ensure general lab/equipment maintenance.
Support additional lab activities as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Biology, Entomology, Environmental Biology or related field of study with 2 years of lab assay experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic team-based environment, strong basic laboratory skills, including pipetting and solution making.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, familiarity with aseptic technique, electronic data systems, attention to detail and strong writing skills.
