PDS Tech Inc Maintenance Mechanic in Saint Louis, Missouri
Starting Pay: $32.00/HR
Location: Saint Louis, MO 63106
Night Shift ONLY: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (12 hour shifts 3-2-2-3).
To perform all functions of plant maintenance. Primary responsibilities for support is preventative and predictive maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, installation of plant equipment, machinery, and buildings in a safe and professional manner. Work within the guidelines of good manufacturing practices at all times. Support the plant by providing technical support as assigned.
Repair, maintain and troubleshoot machinery, building utilities, and equipment.
Use and operate Maintenance Department tools, machinery, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Adhere to all GMP procedures.
Work from blueprints, sketches and schematics to troubleshoot and perform repairs on machinery and equipment with minimal instruction from Supervisor.
Assist all maintenance as needed and help in training and development processes.
Knowledge of Electrical/PLC/Instrumentation Control systems.
Proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems.
Pipe fitting and Mechanical knowledge.
General Welding skills desired or willingness to attain.
Documentation of actions in service logbooks and work order system.
Capable of working independently or in a team atmosphere.
This position requires detailed knowledge of manufacturing equipment and the ability to make decisions concerning operation of this equipment which directly affects production capabilities. As the individual progresses through the system, they will be asked to work with a reduced amount of supervision as skills improve.
Education & Experience:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a history of good attendance.
Must be willing to continue education through.
Schooling (courses chosen by supervision/management), Seminars, Training sessions, Step Program utilized for growth plan and evaluation.
