The Boeing Company NDT Quality Test Specialist (Mid Level) in Saint Louis, Missouri

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced NDT Quality Test Specialist to support our Saint Louis, Missouri location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Guides the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques.

  • Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.

  • Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents.

  • Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods.

  • Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors.

  • Develops certification training and examinations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have completed the minimum required formal education in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) for a Certified Level 3 per NAS410 in Ultrasonic Inspection or Radiographic Testing.

  • More than 5 years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test). Preferred Qualifications (Desires Skills/Experience):

  • Experience interpreting and complying with Nondestructive Inspection requirements for military aircraft structures.

Typical Education / Experience: AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
