Project Engineer

Permanent position: Electrical commercial contractor has IMMEDIATE openings for project engineers of varying experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working or interning on commercial or industrial construction projects. This company is looking to build out their project management team. This position will require travel to various project sites and can sit ANYWHERE in the US. Please indicate the level (%) of travel you are comfortable doing.

Responsibilities for the Project Engineer

  • Manage project documentation

  • Manage submittals and purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of project materials

  • Support change order preparation and tracking by working with the assistant project manager

  • Support project commissioning by supporting the punchlist process and assembling turnover documents

  • Travel/relocate as needed to support local and national projects

Requirements for the Project Engineer

  • BS in Engineering, Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent industry experience

  • Relevant work or internship experience is a plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Access, Bluebeam Revu and CAD/BIM software is a plus, but NOT required
