Analyzes requirements and develops an R&M engineering program to achieve customer objectives.
Analyzes projected utilization and calculates effect on final system reliability based on individual part reliabilities.
Allocates top level R&M quantitative requirements to design teams. Performs reliability predictions and track performance.
Develop FMECAs; Support Airworthiness and safety engineering as required
Perform Maintainability Analysis; leverage human factors and quality engineering best practices
Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis; leverage MSG-3 best practices
Perform Reliability Development Testing (HALT/CAST)
Perform R&M analyses and assessments on selected systems and influence Fault Detection and Isolation BIT requirements
Run scripts to translate these models into a form that is executable logic on the aircraft, and simulate intended operation.
Work with the real-time software development team to integrate the resulting executable applications into the Mission Computing hardware.
Develop Testability models from schematics, FMECAs, ICDS and other available supplier documentation to assess compliance to customer fault detection/isolation requirements. Perform Failure Modes and Effects Testing (FMET)
Develop FRACAS plan and deploy closed loop FRACAS; lead FRB; Maintain RGC’s and perform Weibull Analysis
Minimum of 5 years experience performing R&M Engineering
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD with 7 or more years' experience. Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Radar / Propulsion / Avionics / Hydromechanical and other relevant Aero system knowledge required.
Microsoft Excel, MATLAB/Simulink, Boeing RAMC, and Vanderbilt FACT run time reasoning tools.

The ability to obtain a US Interim Security Clearance clearance pre start, final post start which requires US Citizen.
