Job Summary The Tooling Engineer II will provide indirect support to production manufacturing using standard knowledge of Special Tooling ST and tooling care. Provide support level processing experience as it applies to both materials and techniques for ST maintenance/repair. Job Responsibilities * Assist in the investigation of non-conformances and the implementation of maintenance/repair techniques for general rework/repair of ST's. * Responsible for ensuring ST function and general appearance are consistent with company and customer supplied quality assurance standards. * Responsible for the account and condition of ST components and all tool details. * Support the verification of tool functionality and capability by comprehending vendor supplied technical tool data elements. * Produce tool data records that identify general status and condition of ST's. * Monitor ST's with past discrepancies by assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. * Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance. * Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Technical Degree or a combination of 2 to 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or Co-op or have Team/Project work in tooling. * U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Effective communication both written and verbal * Experience with MS Office is preferred * Minimum of one year of production tool support experience preferred. * General understanding of CAD/CAM application is a plus.
