Work through the revision and approval process with DesignLead and document revisions as needed. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting design or layout.i Coordinate with Design lead and fabricators to design, layout, or detail components and systems to resolve design and/or other problems.i Assist in constructability reviews with Design Lead, PMis and other shop personnel, to ensure products are designed with shop capabilities in mind.Essential Duties:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following Essential Duties satisfactorily.i This list is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all functions, responsibilities, skills and abilities.i Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the Essential Duties of the position, provided it does not create an undue hardship on the Company. Create and store project documents on the server using current filing methodologyAssist in developing and following project workflows, design processes, and drafting standardsField measure existing equipment and/or utilities for design conceptKeep personal workstation and software up to dateAssist in identifying and correcting challenges between design and fabricationParticipate in a weekly workload meetingAssist in the continuous improvement initiatives related to the design departmentWork in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerMay be required to drive a vehicle to various jobsites throughout working hoursMaintain valid driveris license and a driving record that meets company policy Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerRegular attendance and punctuality are essential for employee job performancePerform other duties as assignedEnvironmental, Physical, and Mental Requirements:Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks and body movements including climbing, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, walking, standing, and carrying; moving materials and manipulating thingsMust be able to complete job duties proficiently while adapting to changing demands and priorities Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry/move 20lbsMust be able to work in a team environmentAbility to communicate clearly with other employeesMust have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time to perform duties in a safe mannerSkills and Competencies:3D Modeling experience preferably using InventorERP experienceMirosoft office experienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredWorking knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.Working knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programmingAbility to communicate clearly with other employeesGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors requiring re-workAbility and willingness to work overtime and non-standard schedule: nights, weekends and holidays as/if requiredA current valid driveris license is required
