O'Reilly Automotive Stores, Inc Real Estate Project Designer in SPRINGFIELD, Missouri
The Project Designer will produce high quality architectural renderings for the company's construction projects using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and other design programs.
Essential Job Functions
Produce construction documents for company construction projects through sheet preparation and layout ensuring that all working drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable national and local codes through code research and general knowledge.
Review plans of each construction document before and after completion.
Review Project As-Built packages as required.
Coordinate and communicate with outside consultants and other development personnel.
Contact city officials for permit requirements on new or remodeling project.
Use Photoshop to produce design concept studies, paint schemes, and documents for landlord approval.
Field measure and travel as needed for special projects.
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma with subsequent courses of study in AutoCAD 2D design.
3-5 years experience with an architectural design firm, which specializes in commercial projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at various stages through completion.
