Responsible for leading the portfolio/initiative of enterprise migration activities from one or more legacy systems.Currently leading WGS migration efforts for the Large Group Segment.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and executes the strategies and plans of the portfolio/initiative and its associated programs.

  • Defines and refines enterprise and state specific strategies.

  • Coordinates development and delivery of execution plans across execution management team as well as matrixed business and IT leaders.

  • Engages regional and enterprise executive leadership (state/regional presidents, ELT, CAO SLT, etc.) in decision making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.

  • Ensures end-to-end delivery with particular focus on closure of end to end testing and business process/resource readiness.

  • Manages the portfolio budget and plans in conjunction with domain execution leads.

  • Leads process and workflow improvement efforts within the business unit, data warehouse, and underwriting systems development and consolidations.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires a BS/BA in related field; 10 years management experience in health plan functions, business operations and technical platforms and solutions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interface with and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and stakeholders. Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
