What you bring:
High School diploma or GED
Post high school Technical/Vocational school degree or Military experience in facilities maintenance preferred
3 years facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment experience, preferred
Lighting system maintenance, understanding of lamp and ballast replacement, and fixture repair
Basic building electrical maintenance and evaluation
Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting repairs
Basic understanding of building and facilities systems including HVAC, Irrigation, Fire suppression and alarms
Understands the use of and how to safely operate hand and powered tools associated with the trade
Basic understanding of lock out, tag out procedures and related safety practices.
Understanding of fittings fasteners and hardware associated with facility maintenance.
Able to operate a man-lift with height issues up to 30ft.
Able to operate forklift and pallet jacks.
Ability to perform to physical duties in relation to job including lifting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting.
Ability to work outside at times in various weather conditions.
Ability to communicate verbally or in writing with various levels of employees and management as well as outside service vendors.
Basic computer skills required.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll work with a highly motivated team of building maintenance and operation personnel to maintain and repair a manufacturing facility and associated spaces.
What you will work on:
Position involves basic facilities maintenance activities for office, manufacturing, and warehouse areas. You'll perform scheduled, preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdown calls and participate in projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new facilities.
D Shift: Friday- Sunday 5:30pm-5:30am (weekend nights)
