The Boeing Company Aircrew Training Device Technician in St. Louis, Missouri

BGS is searching for a Training device technician with a focus on F15 type devices to join the team in Saudi Arabia

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia for up to 2 years

. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.

Position responsibilities

Repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.

Coordinates and consults with vendors and/or customers to determine the level of maintenance or repair to be performed on training device and/or components.

Performs detailed inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling.

Inspects components and or LRU's to verify status prior to installation.

Consults with engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment.

Troubleshoot to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Works minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Minimum of 5 years'

experience in the field of simulation, electronics, or avionics, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or aircraft maintenance

Minimum of 5 years'

experience in Aircrew training devices

Typical Education

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Expatriate Information

Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.

Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Prior to deployment to Saudi Arabia, accommodations will be provided.
