KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Capacity Management to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of technologies to gather, process and turn data into action

  • Help focus team effort on continual improvement of process through research, analysis and adoption of new products and technologies for the purpose of managing capacity for build and run activities

  • Operate Data Warehouse such as Oracle, MongoDB, Hadoop, MSSQL and Business Intelligence tools - Qlikview, Alteryx, Tableau, Log Aggregation - Splunk, ELK Stack

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies introduced internally and externally

  • Build relationships on behalf of department with business clients and technology staff and determine and execute ways to implement solutions that meet business needs and addresses impact of new or revised tools and procedures

  • Manage and integrate new team members and set goals, provide feedback and developmental opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of senior level systems administrator experience; preferably in Enterprise Level Data Centers with production environments over 1000 servers

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Technical knowledge and experience with SQL Query Languages; Experience with Splunk Query Language, conceptual understanding of data lakes and data warehouses and the ability to code with a widely used programming/scripting language (C#, Powershell, Python, Bash, VBScript)

  • Familiarity with Agile practices, and ITIL and technical knowledge with various hardware including server, network and data center equipment

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work

  • US Citizenship required
