KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Problem Management to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a process/service strategy and continuous improvement roadmap for Problem Management
Produce reports and lead proactive and reactive reviews to identify common trends in incidents, events, requests, and failed changes to recommend points of improvement
Build awareness of a Problem Control Process across engaged parties and act as Problem Management subject matter professional (SMP) while creating and fostering cross functional relationships
Interact with technology leadership to influence alignment with defined service processes
Provide ongoing oversight into process/service health, including review of periodic performance metrics and follow-up on non-compliance issues
Review Management Reporting / Collaboration with Process Owners: produce both recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives, and the identification of improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum eight years of experience in various IT Operations roles including technical design, system administration, development, project management, process engineering and crisis and problem management; with experience as a Problem Manager
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
Able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high performance teams; able to interface with all levels of the organization
Ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work
