What does a great Solutions Consultant III, Dovetail do?
As a Client Solutions Consultant III within our Dovetail team, you will support pre-sales activities within the Payment Services Hub space. You will work with our sales executives to understand the clients’ requirements, prepare and give extensive product demonstrations and workshops.
You will be responsible for providing customers and sales executives with business and technical product advice, preparing RFI/ RFP response and proposals, effectively delivering software demonstrations to potential and existing clients, and being involved in closing business in conjunction with the sales team.
As a Client Solutions Consultant III, you can look forward to:
Working hand and hand with our Sales Executives to close business opportunities.
You will build and present customized demonstrations of the Dovetail Payment Services Hub solution.
You will collaborate with our Sales Executives to develop an in-depth understanding of the customers’ business, structure, practices, challenges and requirements within the context of the customers’ business sector.
We need you to work with our Sales Executives to develop and maintain a long-term strategic Account Development Plan.
We also want you to liaison with other departments (e.g. Product Management, Implementation, Marketing, Development) to build a virtual account team.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Strong presentation skills and public speaking.
Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.
Ability to present solution to business and technology executives.
Extensive hands-on domain expertise in wire processing - Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, international payments and liquidity management.
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills using the MS Office suite (emails, documents, presentations), with rigorous attention to detail.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred skills/experience/education for consideration:
Prior experience developing proposals, demos and presentations for customers.
Pre Sales experience in enterprise level, application software with validated experience in solution selling.
Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology field, or equivalent experience
Ability to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposals
Experience in commercial and retail payment systems and how banks use those systems.
Experience with Web Server and Java EE technologies at an overview level
Understanding of software development lifecycle and technology
Confirmed experiences with North American payment markets- US and Canada.
